The MGT-4 allows you to control key features of your amplifier while you are playing your instrument. The ability to switch preset sounds on the fly with the tap of your foot, or turn effects on and off in the middle of a song is crucial to have during a live performance. The MGT-4 allows you do this with ease. Create rhythm passages to solo over by unlocking the looper function built into your Mustang GT. With just a tap of the foot, conveniently access the tuner built into your GT amplifier. The Fender Mustang MGT-4 footswitch will assist you in navigating the uncharted depths of your creativity.

FEATURES OF THE MGT-4


Unlock The Loop Every Mustang GT amplifier comes with the ability to be used as a looper. However this function can only be used with the MGT-4 footswitch. The looper gives you the ability to record a loop up to 60 seconds in length, and then continuously overdub additional parts afterwards. This feature is great for playing lead over your own songs or creating complex layered compositions on stage.	Footswitch Cable Included The Fender MGT-4 Footswitch comes with a 15 1/4" foot cable included to connect your MGT-4 to your Mustang GT amplifier, allowing you to control your amplifier from a comfortable distance.	Control Your Effects! Instantly turn on and off the first three effects in your signal chain. This feature is extremely useful if you are in the middle of a song and need to kick on an overdrive for your big lead, or turn off a fuzz during a break down. Just switch the MGT-4 into Effects mode and use the FX1,2,and 3 buttons to engage or un-engage the effects.

Perfect for dialing in presets prior to getting on stage.

The Fender Tone app becomes even more powerful when paired with the MGT-4. You can dial in your tones and presets using the Tone App during practice, and then use your MGT-4 to switch through them on stage. With these tools the Fender Mustang GT line gives you amazing flexibility.

Built in Tuner

The MGT-4 prevents the need for an stomp box tuner or clip on tuner, because there is one built right into your amp! Simply hit and hold the "hold to tune" button on your footswitch and the display will go into tuning mode. This is perfect for tuning in-between songs or before your set.
