1963 Alamo Titan Mark I hollow-core electric guitar with a Cherry finish. This rare vintage guitar is 100% all-original with zero modifications or repairs and is in excellent overall condition considering its age. This was clearly well cared for all its life and was rarely played. It even includes the original case and all original paperwork. It is perfectly setup and everything sounds fantastic. Even though this guitar has only one pickup, the rhythm/lead switch makes it extremely versatile. It weighs just 5.61 pounds and has a 1.625" nut width. This is a full size guitar with a 25" scale length. The neck thickness measures 0.964" at the 1st fret and 0.969" at the 12th fret.
This is a 60-year-old guitar that has been in storage nearly all its life. There is very little playwear visible with most of the wear being from natural aging, such as finish checking and some light patina on the hardware. There's a few dings and scuffs around the edges of the body but nothing major. Some lights swirls can be seen under direct lighting, but the original Cherry finish shines bright and looks beautiful. The back of the neck smooth with just a couple finish marks. The rosewood fingerboard is very clean with minimal finger wear. The frets show only a hint of wear on the first couple frets under the B string. The truss rod works perfectly and the neck is straight. The headstock looks great with only a couple scuffs around the edges. All tuners work perfectly. The electronics are all original and sounds great with zero issues.
Includes the original chipboard case and original paperwork. The top corner of the case's lid is separating, preventing one latch from working properly. The handle is solid and works, as do the other two latches. The original owner wrote his name on the inside of the case with a black marker.
