1964 Framus Golden Strato de Luxe 5/168-54gl Vintage Electric Guitar with a Sunburst finish. Overall in excellent condition for its age and plays great. It has loads of features, including individual pickup activation switches and tone controls, muter switches, an organ-effect control, tremolo, and a zero-fret. All electronics are completely original. The guitar weighs 8.55 pounds and has a 1.55" nut width. It has a 24.75" scale length. The neck thickness measures 0.839" at the 1st fret and 0.903" at the 12th fret.
This guitar is in great condition overall. The gold hardware has minimal patina. There are some light dings and scuffs throughout the body you would expect from a guitar this old. It has some checking in the finish throughout. There's one section on the body's lower side where the paint has peeled off a little bit. The back of the neck is very clean and smooth with only a few marks. The neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod works. The rosewood fingerboard is extremely clean with no noticeable marks. The frets have just a tiny bit of fretwear on the first few frets. All frets have just been polished to a bright shine. Action is low with no buzzing anywhere. The headstock has a few minor scuffs around the edges. The original tuners work perfectly. Everything is original except for the bridge, which was upgraded to a Gibson ABR-1 bridge allowing for better intonation.
Includes what appears to be the original chipboard case. The chipboard case is in good working condition with typical wear. As with all chipboard cases, it does not provide much support for the guitar. Does not include any other accessories.
