Late 1968 Gibson J-45ADJ Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar with a Cherry Sunburst finish. There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. Everything is original except for newer strap buttons. This features the broad shoulders body instead of the earlier soft shoulders. The bridge is adjustable and the string action height is currently set to 2.20mm at the 12th fret with light strings. It weighs 5.05 pounds. The neck thickness measures 0.840" at the 1st fret and 0.976" at the 9th fret.
Overall in great condition for its age. The top has plenty of minor scuffs, scratches, and dings but no cracks. The bridge is solid. All binding looks good. The back has a few tiny dings. The neck joint is good. The back of the neck is clean and smooth with very few marks. The rosewood fingerboard looks great. There is minor fretwear under the B string on the first couple frets. No issues with the nut. The original tuners work perfectly. The neck is straight and the truss rod works.
Includes the original chipboard case in fair condition. All latches work, as does the handle, but the seam on the edge near the middle latch is loose. Does not include any other accessories.
