1995 Taylor GA-MC Limited Edition "Golden Age" Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar with a Mahogany body and Cedar top. This is number 44 of just 300 made. The GA-MC was Taylor's first Grand Auditorium body shape before the 514, and the specs are nearly identical to Taylor's K14c model but with a gloss finish on this. It's a great playing acoustic and it sounds fantastic. It has a professionally installed Fishman electronic pickup system. The guitar weighs just 4.49 pounds. It has a standard 1.75" nut width. The neck thickness measures 0.808" at the 1st fret and 0.835" at the 9th fret.
Overall good condition considering its age. There is plenty of playwear throughout. There are tiny scuffs and dings on the front and back of the body. There is finger wear through the finish at the bottom of the pickguard. There are a couple of very tiny hairline cracks in the top, but they do not go all the way through the other side of the wood. Some of the body's binding has slightly separated away and a repair appears to have been attempted, but it didn't take. However, the binding does appear stable. The neck joint looks perfect. The back of the neck has some small marks and indentations throughout that can't be felt while playing. The ebony fingerboard is very clean with no noticeable fingerwear. There is a tiny bit of finish separation between the neck and fretboard at the 1st fret, showing a tiny gap. There is some fretwear on the first few frets. All frets have been polished to a bright shine and there is no buzzing anywhere. The string action height is currently set to 2.45mm at the 12th fret with no buzzing anywhere. There original saddle is unmodified with plenty of life to lower if desired. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. No issues with the headstock. The original tuners work perfectly. A Fishman electronic pickup was professionally installed and it works great.
Includes the original hardshell case in overall good condition. There are scuffs throughout. One latch is broken but the other 4 latches work. The handle works. The interior of the case is in excellent condition. Does not include any other accessories.
