1965 Gibson EB-0 electric bass guitar with a Cherry finish. This vintage bass is all original and is in excellent condition for being 55 years old. It has just been setup and it is a delight to play. The sidewinder fat humbucker pickup sounds fantastic and the entire range of the tone control is usable, making the single pickup very versatile and allows you to get any tone you need. It is a very light bass, weighing in at just 6.71 pounds. The neck thickness measures 0.917" at the 1st fret and 1.047" at the 12th fret.

The original Cherry finish has some finish checking and regular playwear throughout, but nothing major. There's a few dings and scuffs around the edges of the body. Some light worming is visible on the back of the body. The pickguard has a very small chip in one corner. All hardware is in good condition with only light patina showing. The back of the neck has some areas where the finish has worn down a bit, giving it a beautiful almost-sunburst appearance. There's only one small ding on the back of the neck that can be felt. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is in excellent condition and is very clean. The original frets have been dressed and now show no visible wear, and there is still some fretlife left. The nut is in excellent shape. The truss rod works and the neck is straight. The headstock is in very good condition with some scuffing around the edges. The original reverse-wind tuners work perfectly. One screw on one of the tuners was replaced. All electronics are original and work perfectly. Both potentiometers date to 1965 and all solder joints look untouched.

Includes the original hardshell case in good working condition. The exterior of the case has some typical scuffs from being in storage. The interior of the case looks great. The handle and all latches work. Does not include the palm rest cover.
