1976 Rickenbacker 481 Slant Fret electric guitar with a Fireglo finish. This vintage Rick is in phenomenal condition for its age and plays beautifully. This guitar looks like it's only a couple years old and has very little playtime. It weighs 8.41 pounds. The nut width measures roughly 1.643". The neck thickness measures 0.888" at the 1st and 0.910" at the 12th fret.
Overall in excellent condition. It has been kept in its case for most of its life. The finish is still bright and shiny. All hardware looks great. There are just a couple tiny pinpoint dings around the body. There's a few light scuffs around the back edge of the body near the lower strap button. There is no visible worming on the back. The back of the neck is glossy smooth with only one minor pinpoint mark. The neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod works. The rosewood fingerboard looks great. There's only a hint of fretwear on the first couple frets. All frets have been polished to a bright shine. No issues with the nut or headstock and the tuners work perfectly. All electronics are original with zero issues. One pickup screw on the bridge pickup has been replaced...other than that one pickup screw this guitar is 100% original.
Includes the original hardshell case. One of the latches is broken but the other two latches work. No issues with the handle. The exterior of the case has a lot of scuffing. The interior of the case has some minor wear. Does not include any other accessories.
